Tahini

Tahini is the product obtained by grinding sesame seeds. It is a calorie-rich food, primarily from good fats (80%) and carbohydrates. It contains moderate amounts of proteins and is a good source of calcium and iron.

It contains a variety of minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, many of the B-complex vitamins, folic acid, and Vitamin E.

Thanks to these beneficial components, it:

  • Reduces the levels of bad cholesterol in the blood.
  • Contributes to the regulation of blood pressure.
